i have a bagillion veggie burgers and i don't know what to do them.
this is me at work on the last day. this is how work was every day, pretty much. that is stephen, who is much like dan dore.i think mauro is sitting behind stephen, hiding.
this is the office where i spent about 140 hours over the past two weeks. ridiculous. i wish i had more to say about it.
last evening i threw my first garden party at my flat for my in-london birthday celebration. we made mandu and grilled american style so it was korean-american fusion just like me. the night consisted of good new american friends, mauro pushing me down some stairs, fantastic wine, a shitload of gin, and tealights that wouldn't stay lit in the wine glasses. dan, i used your glitter from your card for the water in the tea lights. so in a way you were there.
in a way, you were all there. like these silent ghosts of friendship shifting around my garden, looking at me and smiling and comforting me. i keep thinking about central park a year ago. and how i love you all just as much as i did in those moments, surrounded by bubbles and sangria.
mau did all the dishes and we settled outside together for a last drink. i asked him, what should we toast to, and he said, to us~ to an intense beginning and a bright future.
cannes tomorrow.
