the last stand

i received two emails today.
one from joyce and one from cassie.
both were quite long.
both were fantastic.

i printed them out and saved them for my cab ride home.
so thank you.
this is my first birthday ever without my home friends. i started crying at my computer on friday at work at that thought. not because i was simply sad. but because i am happy and i want to share it with you so much.
i don't have weekends any more. i have sunday. i slept in and rolled in the window sunshine and wrote a press release. then it was more sushi with mau, lynn, and her brother followed by x3.
x3 was fantastic. i had a few problems with it, but really, an engrossing and visually exciting film. fuck halle barry. we all know you wanted a bigger part. good job making it look obv. mau turned down seeing a band with his friend to watch a dorky xmen movie. he gets boy-points.
i got to pet a dog after the movie. i miss my dog so much it hurts. and there was this golden mutt with a homeless guy. i played with him for a bit and then the guy asked if we could buy him food. i was like ok and he said yeah whatever i don't believe you. i said no no stay here and i'll come back. and i went to buy sandwiches. and by the time i got back he had left. he had no faith. sometimes that's what you need if you want a sandwich. a bit of faith.
i woke up monday morning to waffles with nutella already spread on them, melting.
the nutella was melting too.

Saw X 3 last night.
I think together we can take out Halle Berry. Wanna give it a shot?
