mauro was supposed to join us for the boat races but he tmed me saying he was sick so when he didn't show up to work on monday i can't say i was much surprised. we joked that i really must have done quite the number on this boy. laugh laugh poke poke.
tues rolls around and he's not only missing but he didn't call in. stephen and i are quite confused and now i'm a bit concerned. its not like him to not call in to work. he showed up today. he had an intestinal virus that has been wreaking havoc on his life for the past few days. to make up for his absence, he showed up today dressed to the nines, buttondown, vest everything. its delicious because i know he has tats under there and he takes out his rockstar peircings before he comes to work. love that.
enough about mauro. tomorrow i will be throwing my first party in my new room, a potluck and UK BBC premiere of grey's anatomy. season 1, episode 1. it turned into about 9 people so it should be quite interesting. oh and for the record and this is quite exciting, dr. callie, george's love interest IS the lady of the lake from spamalot. I CALLED THAT FUCKING SHIT.

the best thing is the billboards that have been up promoting grey's they feature four of the characters standing in white space with captions as follows:

what the fuck kind of marketing is that? do they WANT this show to fail? sheesh.
