been busy sorry new hostel no wifi but a huge kitchen and i've been here a day already someone has stolen my package of 10 eggs, a quart of orange-banana juice, 10 slices of turkey, and some swigs of my milk. this is not ideal. shawn and i had the room to ourselves last night (its a quad) but there's a third person today. last night was potluck supper at my old hostel, which was fantastic and i made scones for everyone with clotted buttermilk cream. so british! i have pictures but god knows when they'll be uploaded with my complicated computer wifi situation. i move into my place march 3 MARCH 3!!!! MARCH 3. i took a nude model drawing class the other day and was so awful at it but for someone i like to know that i'm awful at things, that's the gemini in me i guess. the instructor was cute and i think my aesthetic lameness amused him so my work here is done. i talked to the nude model (a 50 year old dude yum) because i am interested in getting work. its like £25 an hour which is 50 bucks. what else what else it was miserable weather today snowy/rainy and freezing and i had 3 job interviews, one of which was at time-life but the pay was shit and the bosses were women and i will probably turn it down tomorrow. the reason i'm being foolish like this is that i'm in good running for a contract job for the lion advert awards in cannes in june. the pay is good, the hours many, and i'd get to go to france to work on the project at the end of may for 2 weeks. not fucking bad. i hit it off with the lady (she has a dog in her office, said i could type fast, and when we got on the subject of my travels to korea i knew i was in) and i have another interview with them on monday, the actual company. it means i won't be able to travel much but i could care less.
